  • Is Cytonn College Innovation and Entrepreneurship affiliated to Cytonn Group?

    Cytonn College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship is the first initiative by Cytonn Education Services, Cytonn Group’s education affiliate.

  • Why did Cytonn Group diversify into Education?

    Education fits into the Cytonn Group’s Overall Strategy and the diversification into education is essential for Cytonn because:

    1. To provide the education facilities component of our comprehensive mixed-use developments,
    2. To enable our investors access the attractive education sector given recent deals in education
    3. To develop entrepreneurial technical talent for two of the presidents “big four” agenda in affordable housing and manufacturing, with top graduates in building programs guaranteed jobs in our various projects
    4. It is an opportunity to further diversify our revenue streams from financial services and real estate.
  • What is CCIE?

    CCIE stands for Cytonn College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, an initiative of Cytonn Education Services

  • I did not perform well in KCSE; can I still pursue my favourite career at Cytonn College?

    Yes. At Cytonn College, we have various entry levels that ensure students progress to the top irrespective of the grade they got in KCSE. A student can start with fundamentals of web developement.

  • Do you have other constituent campuses or branches?

    Currently no, but plans are underway to open more branches in future

  • Do you have hostels for student accommodation?

    Hostels are available for students in need of accommodation. Students are encouraged to visit the respective hostel before paying for accommodation.

  • What extracurricular activities are available on campus?

    Cytonn College emphasizes the importance of extracurricular activities and encourages all students to take part. We have various indoor and outdoor games, clubs and societies as well as social and scholastic trips that make life on campus sweeter for Cytonnaires.

  • Can I find a job while still studying?

    Apprenticeship (work – study program) is highly encouraged at Cytonn College. Students not only learn in class but are given a chance to practice what they learn at actual work places within and without Nairobi. Students who find permanent jobs while studying with us are encouraged to switch to a friendlier mode of study, say, joining evening or weekend classes.

  • What career options do I have after finishing college?

    Cytonn College ensures that all students are taught innovation and entrepreneurship in order to be job creators and not just seekers. Kindly look at the career opportunities available under each course or better still, talk to the head of the respective department.

  • Do you offer distance learning?

    No. Cytonn College offers programs that are heavily practical .

  • What is the employment outlook for Cytonn College graduates?

    Graduating from Cytonn College gives you a competitive edge. The curriculum is designed to equip students with knowledge that enables them create employment for themselves and for others.

  • How can I transfer to Cytonn College?

    Students intending to transfer from other colleges to Cytonn College must first ensure they meet the minimum entry requirements set out for the respective course. Cytonn College offers credit transfers to students provided proof of having passed the unit is attached.

  • Can I work while studying for my diploma?

    Cytonn College provides different modes of learning to carter for different cadres. Students already working full time can choose to study in the evening or on weekends.

  • Is industrial attachment guaranteed?

    Industrial placement is mandatory for all our courses. Cytonn college organizes for placement for all students on long term programs. Students who are able to get their own placement are encouraged to contact the college in advance for prequalification of such places before commencement of attachment.  

  • Where do I go for general advice on courses to do?

    The admissions desk/HOAA/HODs will give the student information on the various courses that Cytonn College offers prior to admission. Once the student is admitted, they will be advised on actual course registration by HOAA who will help and guide the student till they graduate.

  • What is the College differentiating factor?
    1. The College will focus on developing graduates with an entrepreneurial spirit, through a compulsory Entrepreneurship Course that will see students get both practical and technical knowledge on how to start and run a business
    2. Top graduates in technical areas such as plumbing, electrical and masonry will be guaranteed jobs in Cytonn’s real estate projects
  • What is the student teacher ratio?

    The student-teacher ratio for our college is targeted at 1:30.

  • What is the fees charged for your courses?

    Fees charged varies per course. The information on the fees for each course is available on our flyers, website, and at our College Campus.

  • What modes of study do you offer?

    The college offers normal classes during the week, evening and weekend classes.

  • How many intakes do you have in a year?

    The college has 3 intakes in a year:  January, May/June and September intake.

  • How do I submit my application documents?

    You can send the Application Form with the required documents through hand delivery at Queensway House, 6th Floor or Online via admissions@cytonncollege.ac.ke or you can call 0740919191 for any further assistance.

  • Which application documents must I submit?

    The main documents an applicant needs to have are:

    1. Application forms duly filled
    2. Original and Copy of your KCSE Certificate/Results slip
    3. National ID
    4. 2 Passport size photograph.
  • Do I need to have my educational documents officially certified?

    As a general rule, Cytonn College requires applicants to submit originals and copies of all the students’ credentials for verification and certification. International students from non- English speaking countries whose academic documents are in foreign languages are required to have them translated. Translations must be official translations, done either by the awarding institution, Embassy/ High Commission or an accredited official translator.
